Established in 2016, the Department offers B.A in Mass Communication. The major objective of the Department is to train students in the spheres of journalism, television production, radio production, advertising, public relations, film studies and digital media and photography. The department aim is to nurture cutting edge media professionals with effective communication and critical thinking skills. It works towards preparing young minds with a strong foundation in values and principles, who proactively intervene in the development of a just and humane society. Making students adaptable to the changes in profession, responding to the new developments in the way news is delivered and preparing students to work in different environments are the major concerns of the department.
