Department of chemistry was established in the self financing stream in 2015. The department has a well equipped laboratory and it frequently organizes seminars and workshops on various topics to enhance skills and knowledge of the students. The Department is very keen in providing value education and takes special care in conducting activity oriented programmes to inculcate in students love and care for the environment. Observing world Environment day, World ozone Day, World Water Day and World Forestry Day are integral part of the syllabus. The Department has three teaching faculty and one Lab. Staff. The Department also provides skill training in the manufacture of soaps, detergents and hand sanitizer.
