The department of Arabic is one of the centres for the study of Arabic Language and literature in Wayanad District since the inception of the college in 1995. It offers three year degree programme and was upgraded to Post Graduate departmentlevel in 2002.
The special feature of the department is its consistent improvement in academic and non-academic performances. It offers a wide range of innovative programmes in every academic year.
Our students were placed in different reputed academic and non-academic institutions in the country and abroad, such as Colleges, schools, translation bureaus, and other excellent jobs in the Middle East.
The department publishes a Peer Reviewed Research Arabic Journal named “Raihan" with ISSN. The members of faculty take up translation works of different official documents. Two of our faculties are research supervisors in RUA College, Farook, and four research scholars are doing their Ph.D under each Supervisor.
