The Department of Mathematics was established in 1995. The core course B.Sc. mathematics was started in 1999. It was upgraded to PG department in the year 2005. The department facilitates and co-ordinates seminars among the students, organizes lectures and observes special days of scientific importance.
It strives to maintain high standards of teaching in various areas of Mathematics. Several academic and co-curricular ventures are being conducted by the department. The programs of the department enable the students to be systematic and regular and it helps them be disciplined in every sphere of life.
