WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME

Women entrepreneurship programme for women in neighbourhood community Aduvadi. The department organised a meeting for women in neighbourhood community. The meeting decided to form a self-help group. The self-help group formed with 35 members on 16/10/2019. The department organised bag making training programme in collaboration with RSETI(Govt of India).The training programme started on 7th January 2020 for SHG members. After 13 days training programme, the members of the self-help group arranged an exhibition and sale in college campus. The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr. T P Muhammad Fareed, 10 self-help group members turned in to entrepreneurs with support of Department of social work and college management. On March first, they opened new bag making shop near by college campus.
