A Mathematics platform named ‘Mathematical circle’ is functioning in the college. Students and teachers, who wish to experience the challenges and thrill of Mathematics, are the members. Students of the department are divided in to a number of groups and they lead meetings of the Mathematical Circle performing various events like Exploration of new mathematical ideas, Mathematical games and puzzles, Short math quizzes, Math magics, Problem contests etc. It helps in posing and solving non-routine problems, developing creativity and healthy habits of discovery and self-learning.
