NATIONAL TOUR-FIELD/ AGENCY OBSERVATION VISIT

The National Tour-Field / Agency visit is a part and parcel of the field work to training in social work education. . According to Calicut University M.S.W Syllabus it is mandatory for third semester Social work students as a part of social work training. It helps and encourages students to understand the realities and the practical implementation of social work theories and methods in society. The National Tour-Field/ Agency visits includes the observation visits through important institutional visits, ideal villages or community development projects, government and non government funding agencies etc.
  
2017-2019 batch visited Rajasthan. The team visited several non-governmental institutions (NGOs) and Rajasthan central university.17 students of third semester MSW students and 02 Faculty members participated.

2018-2020 batch MSW students visited Mumbai. 17 students and 2 Faculty members visited Tata Institute of Social Work the first social work education institution in India and visited several social work settings in Mumbai.
