Extension Activity: Aduvadi Tribal Settlement

Aduvadi Colony field work was started during 2017-18 academic year, under Department of Social Work, as an initial phase phase of WMO Arts and Science College’s extension activities. As the primary step, the department conducted a need assessment session with the help of MSW students and consolidated the collected data into a vast project idea, which was presented before the college authority and a nominal fund was also offered by them. Being into the next phase, the department assigned coordination duty of the same to Mr Shuaib Muhammed and started field work of MSW students in the settlement. Three field work sessions of 21 days each have been completed in Aduvadi so far, in which seven students were involved. During this period, the following activities were conducted in the area
