The excursion conducted by the Department of English during the academic year 2019-20 for the V semester UG students was phenomenal in its own way. It was a three day package of fun and learning. This, indeed, was an amazing opportunity for the students to explore the beautiful hillstations of Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu and Idukki in Kerala. The mesmerising Pine Forests, misty Pillar Rocks and the suicide point which proffers a stunning glimpse of valleys and hills of kodaikanal made the students much more closer to the nature. The cycling around a lake and the shopping points which offered luscious chocolates were enough to make them more happy. The visit to Ramakkalmedu hill station and the daring and fun filled jeep trekking onto the top of mountains kept them still cool. The trip was clearly a chance for the students to broaden their mindset and attitude along with owning memories for a lifetime.
